The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) enhances the competitiveness of our workforce by encouraging workers to learn for life, and advance with skills. This will in turn help our companies compete, and strengthen our economy. In this presentation, WDA will be sharing with members of CTFAS on the various type of WSQ training programs, funding schemes and subsidies which companies can leverage on to develop your core workforce through skills-based training and achieve productivity gains.
Nicholas is an industry engagement officer from the Manufacturing and Construction Division of WDA. He looks at developing and driving workforce development strategies, identifying skills and training needs of the local workforce to enhance their employability and raising industry competitiveness of the manufacturing industry (Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Life Science, TCM, Clinical Research and Food Science). With his expertise, he will be able to assist companies in assessing the feasibility, development and implementation of WDA’s Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) programs.
