Micromaster provides a wide range of Antimicrobial susceptibility discs, which are used employing the Kirby-Bauer • Wide range of antibiotics allows flexibility in testing • The most cost-effective method for susceptibility testing • Antimicrobial agents impregnated on high quality paper, allows uniform adsorption of Antibiotic on the discs and uniform diffusion of the drug into the medium.
• Uniformity of impregnation of the antibiotic on the discs, allows Reliability & Reproducibility of Results • Each Disc is printed on both sides with the appropriate antibiotic identification symbol allows easy readability of zones.
• Each single disc vial contains desiccant pouch to minimize the condensation in the vials.
• Discs are assessed for desired zones of Inhibition using standard ATCC strains of microorganisms.
• Discs are tested in conformation to the CLSI Guidelines.
• Refrigerate the containers with the discs in a freezer below -20oC for long term storage.
• Discs in routine use or a small working supply, should be stored at 2 to 8°C.
• Allow discs to reach room temperature before opening. The unopened disc containers should be removed from the refrigerator / freezer –2 hours before use, so they may equilibrate to room temperature.
For maintaining Global uniformity amongst users, Micromaster now offers Antibiotic discs with concentrations and symbols as per CLSI Guidelines. Discs with the old symbols will be provided only till the stock lasts.
Disc with new symbols will be made available as soon as possible.

• Micromaster 12-in-1 and 20-in-1 Multidisc Combinations were developed as a solution to reducing our user’s time in processing the large number of tests that have to be performed daily. • Convenient to use multiple antibiotic combinations which permit 12 antibiotics to be applied to an inoculated plate in one rapid easy movement.
• Facilitates testing of Gram Positive, Gram Negative and Urinary Tract Isolates.
• Each pack contains 10 rings of the antibiotic combination.
• A stock range of different Micromaster 12-in-1 and 20-in-1 Multidiscs are available, however over 95% of the Multidisc are manufactured to individual customer specifications.
