Guidelines: Establishing a Business using the PSC Application Assistant
The PSC Application Assistant enables you to establish or change your business quickly and inexpensively over the Internet.
Fol owing registration you wil be asked to provide specific information about yourself and your intended business venture. Then the system automatical y col ates the necessary applications for your intended business venture, including the associated forms and documents. You can fil out the forms on your computer and then submit your business venture for approval using the Application Assistant.
Step 1: Registration
When you select the Application Assistant, you are first taken to the Login page: https://antragsassistent.ea-mv.de/
You have to register before using the Application Assistant for the first time. To do this, please click on the button at the top of the left hand area of the page or at the bottom of the page on: Registration
Please enter a valid E-Mail address on the following page and choose a password.
Note: The password must be between 8 and 12 characters long. The entered E-Mail address and the chosen password wil be needed every time you wish to log on to the system.
After you have re-entered the password in the next field, check on the box to confirm your acceptance of the data protection declaration.
Complete your registration by clicking on the
Step 2: My ventures - Create a new venture
Once you have registered, you are automatically taken to the "My Ventures" page. Note: After your initial registration, you wil always be taken to this page when you enter your E-Mail address and password on the Login page.
This page gives you an overview and the status of the ventures that you have already created using the Application Assistant.
To establish a new business venture please click: (Create new venture)
Step 3: Create venture
The active step in this process is shown in dark blue at the top of the fol owing pages.
You must complete al the fields marked with an asterisk (*) on the fol owing pages.
Please enter a name for the business venture/project.
Note: This name wil be subsequently displayed on the overview page "My Ventures“ (Step 2) so that, if you have a number of business ventures/projects, you can differentiate between them simply by their names.
Please choose the type of your business venture (“Art”).
If you intend to establish a new business, please enter "Gründung". If you intend activities related to an existing business, please select "Erweiterung", and for closure select "Abmeldung".
Enter the location of establishment from which you intend to provide the service activity.
Note: If you do not wish to establish your business using a German legal form, then select the last item from the selection window: "Other".
Please enter your nationality and the service sector in which you wish to operate.
Note: You can use a free text search to enter the intended service sector. As you enter the data, the system wil suggest specific service sectors. Alternatively you can use the German Federal Statistical Office's specific economic activity classification code, the so-cal ed "WZ Schüssel". Step 4: Venture questions
Specify whether the registration is for a main office, subsidiary, business premises, temporary EU cross-border service provision or for an itinerant trade.
In addition, you must indicate whether you are the owner or representative, whether you wil hire employees or inherit them and whether wish to identify yourself with an ID card or a passport.
Step 5: Personal data
Please enter your personal data. The fields marked with an asterisk (*) for form of address, name and surname, E-Mail address are mandatory and must be fil ed out.
Note: The data entered here are used to precomplete the corresponding fields in the application forms. We therefore recommend that you enter information into the non-mandatory fields as wel , e.g. your address. Please note that the data are also automatically entered in your "My Profile" details and, once there, they cannot be altered. You should therefore avoid entering incorrect data. Step 6: Venture applications
Here you can find al the necessary applications for your business venture and see the status of each application, form and document.
The applications usual y still require to be edited by you. In order to edit an application, please click on the >> symbol shown after it in the list. Then you can select the relevant form for editing.
Some of the data you provided earlier wil have already been used and entered on the forms. You must complete the rest of the required information on the forms.
Before you can submit your venture, you must have edited al the documents and marked them for submission. Alternatively you can also submit your venture if you have marked documents and forms as to be submitted subsequently or as not to be submitted.
Step 7: Submit venture
Your venture can now be submitted. Please indicate where you wish to submit your venture.

• directly to the offices of the competent bodies
Note: If you choose to have your venture application processed by the Point of Single Contact, then this body wil be your only contact. This has the advantage that you can find out about the progress of all the parts of the venture application from a single source. The functional and geographical responsibilities of the offices of the competent bodies (authorities) are not affected by this. Please note that the submission of your venture application to the Point of Single Contact issues an order to the PSC to perform chargeable services. The processing of your applications by the offices of the competent bodies may also incur costs - irrespective of whether you choose to process your venture through the PSC or directly through the offices of the competent bodies. The charges made by the offices of the competent bodies vary. You wil receive the appropriate notifications of the fees. When you have made your selection, please click on: (Submit venture now)
