CONDITIONS OF USE

Product to be used:
AMBUSH EMULSIFIABLE CONCENTRATE INSECTICIDE
STAKEOUT EMULSIFIABLE CONCENTRATE INSECTICIDE
PLUS OTHER REGISTERED PRODUCTS
Containing: 500g/L PERMETHRIN as their only active constituent.
Directions for Use:
Crop

(Mythimma convecta) SOUTHERN ARMY WORM (Persectania ewingii) LOOPER (Chrysodexis spp)
Critical Use Comments:
HELICOVERPA: Delay the use of permethrin which is disruptive to beneficials if Helicoverpa
is the target pest. Use registered Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt) or Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus
(NPV) products while thresholds are low and caterpillars small (5-10mm). Limit permethrin to
control high density larval infestations or large spatial spread of larvae and persistent egg
laying.
Thorough coverage is essential.
Apply at first signs of infestation for Armyworm and Loopers.
DO NOT apply two consecutive sprays. Alternate with registered products containing spinosad
(ie. Success Naturalyte Insect Control).
A wetting agent should be used at the recommended label rate for the wetting agent.
Withholding Period:
DO NOT HARVEST FOR 1 DAY AFTER APPLICATION
Jurisdiction:
ALL States
Note: Victoria is not included in this permit because Victorian ‘control-of-use’ legislation means that a permit is
not required to legalise this off-label use in VIC.

Additional Conditions:

THIS PERMIT provides for the use of a product in a manner other than specified on the
approved label of the product. Unless otherwise stated in this permit, the use of the product
must be in accordance with instructions on its label.
PERSONS who wish to prepare for use and/or use the products for the purposes specified in
this permit must read, or have read to them, the permit particularly the information included in
